(Formerly 'englishhijabi')
I'm Helena, 19, and an English muslim. Okay I'm English, Egyptian & Turkish. But mostly English :P
I started wearing hijab when I was 7, but when I was 14 I began taking it off when I went out. Alhamdulillah I had a wakeup call about a year ago, and I wear it full time now. This blog is a means for me to become a better muslim and to remind myself and others that hijab is empowering, elegant, and beautiful :)
